It's DeNiro's listed made-to-measure fee. It pays for your boots to be cut on a one-off pattern built from your twelve measurements (six points on each leg) rather than a standard last — and it's what lets us include the measurement review, photo checks and your Fit Promise at no extra charge.

Only need extra height, not a full custom pattern? Tall and X-Tall are a separate £35 DeNiro option.

The Volta is De Niro's everyday dressage boot: a tall, clean calfskin leg with just enough shape at the ankle to look considered rather than plain. It is offered in the base Wrat Black, with a range of colour options for riders who want to make it their own. A stiffened outer leg holds the lower leg quiet and supported, so the boot works with your position instead of against it.

Fit. Each pair is made to order in Italy, typically within 4–5 weeks. Begin with your foot size, then set the leg: Standard follows De Niro's height and calf chart, Tall · X-Tall extends it, and Made to Measure is built to your seven measurements for a boot that fits nowhere but on you.
