Every parcel travels with a trusted courier, fully tracked. In-stock UK orders placed before 1pm arrive next working day; made-to-measure boots take 4–5 weeks from confirmed measurements, plus shipping. Ordering from outside the UK? Your checkout price excludes UK tax — your country's import charges are collected by the courier before delivery (see the guide below).

Customs & import charges (outside the UK)

International orders are shipped with duties unpaid: our checkout price excludes UK tax for delivery outside the UK, and your country's import duty and local tax, plus a small courier clearance fee, are collected by the courier before delivery. These charges are set by your customs authority — they aren't included in our prices and we can't collect them at checkout.

As a rough guide (estimates only — rates change, especially in the US):

  • European Union — customs duty (around 8% on boots) plus your country's VAT (17–27%). Because our checkout has already removed UK VAT, the delivered total usually lands within about 10–15% of our UK in-store price.
  • United States — currently around 15% for our Italian-made boots; other brands can attract different rates, and US tariff policy changes frequently. There is no longer a duty-free allowance for parcels under $800.
  • Canada — customs duty (typically around 18% on leather boots) plus GST/HST for your province.
  • Australia — orders under AUD 1,000 usually clear free of charges; above that, around 5% duty plus 10% GST.
  • Elsewhere — most countries charge import duty plus local tax on arrival; your courier will contact you before delivery.

Made-to-measure timing

Made-to-measure and out-of-stock De Niro boots are built to order in Italy: 4–5 weeks from confirmed measurements, with shipping time added. Need boots for a date? Talk to us — we can usually help.
