It's DeNiro's listed made-to-measure fee. It pays for your boots to be cut on a one-off pattern built from your twelve measurements (six points on each leg) rather than a standard last — and it's what lets us include the measurement review, photo checks and your Fit Promise at no extra charge.

Only need extra height, not a full custom pattern? Tall and X-Tall are a separate £35 DeNiro option.

The Dolcefiore collezione keeps the S5601 dark and tactile: a hard-wearing Wrat black calfskin leg is topped with a Polo-cut panel in textured Dolcefiore PZO grey, and the upper strap is worked in Dolcefiore SPL nero for a subtle tonal contrast. The front zip and reinforced toe of the S5601 carry on underneath, unchanged.
