It's DeNiro's listed made-to-measure fee. It pays for your boots to be cut on a one-off pattern built from your twelve measurements (six points on each leg) rather than a standard last — and it's what lets us include the measurement review, photo checks and your Fit Promise at no extra charge.

Only need extra height, not a full custom pattern? Tall and X-Tall are a separate £35 DeNiro option.

The L457 is a clean jumping boot with a clever bit of give: a Moto-Flex panel of elasticated calfskin across the foot flexes with every bend of the ankle, so the boot moves with you and closes snug without pinching. Simple in the leg and made in high-grade calfskin over a natural calfskin lining, it is a close, quiet boot for riders who live over fences.
